Terms of use

These terms govern your use of RaiseNote (the “service”), operated by Redwood Stacks LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. What the service is

RaiseNote produces research reports on capital-raising transactions from deal documents subscribers upload and public information. Where the same offer has already been analysed for another subscriber who received it, the service may provide that analysis rather than re-running it. Reports are research and decision support only. They are not financial product advice and make no recommendation to acquire or dispose of any financial product. See the disclaimer.

2. Accounts

Accounts are personal and are created with an email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for the email account you use to sign in. Sample analyses are available to every account; the ability to run your own analyses is granted per account and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

3. Your documents

You confirm you are entitled to upload the documents you provide and to have them analysed. Deal documents are often confidential to their recipient; do not upload material you may not share with a service provider. Reports are shown only within your login; you must not redistribute them.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to breach any law or confidentiality obligation, to attempt to access another user’s material, or to reverse-engineer the analysis method. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Availability and changes

The service is provided as is. We aim for prompt turnaround but do not guarantee delivery within any window, uninterrupted availability, or that any report is complete or error-free. We may change or withdraw features.

6. Fees

No fees are charged at present. If paid plans are introduced, their terms will be stated before you are asked to pay anything.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its method and its report formats belong to Redwood Stacks LLC. Your documents remain yours. You grant us the right to process them to produce your reports and to operate the service.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss arising from reliance on a report or on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

9. Ending the relationship

You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and documents. We may close accounts that breach these terms.

10. Governing law

Governing law and any dispute process will be confirmed on counsel’s review; until then, contact redwoodstacks@gmail.com with any concern and we will work it through with you.
